Comments
When you leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Webshop
As a customer in the Webshop you have to register an account. The account information is: your name, email address, physical address and mobile phone number. This is for shipping and billing operations only. Photopi does not share or sell user information. No credit card information is required to shop at Photopi. We do not store, share or sell credit card information.
Free membership
As a registered customer, you will get a Webshop Membership. From here you will be able to browse a large selection of the very best of Photopi images . The membership is free of any charge and will last as long as your account is active.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register in the web shop or through the My account page, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see or edit personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Active accounts are held indefinitely until an Account Erasure Request is generated by the holder of the account. Inactive account are deleted automatically after one year. The deletion includes all personal information. An account is kept active by frequent log in.
What rights you have over your data
If you have a web shop account on this site, you can erase any personal account data we hold about you by closing it.
How to close your account?
The design of WooCommerce dictates how to close an account of the the web shop. Unfortunately this means that you cannot close your account from the Dashboard page of your account. Instead you have to send a membership Account Erasure Request email to the support team: support@photopi.dk. It is important that you use the same email adress as the account is registered to. Please write: Account Erasure Request in the subject line of the email. When the support team receives the email, a reply will generated containing a link that will allow you to close your account. We apllogize for this inconvience and we currently working on a solution that will allow you to close your account from the dashboard. Please note that it can take up to a week for us to process an Account Erasure Request email.
Do not close your account while an order is in progress
It is very important that you do not close your account while an order is in progress. This will make it impossible for us to deliver your order or refund your payment if necessary.
Warranty and cancelation rights
The deletion of your account is an acceptance by you to terminate any legal agreement between you as a customer and Photopi. This includes your warranty and cancelation rights.
Where we send your data
For security reasons the database and all core files are downloaded and checked by our security vendor: SiteLock on a regular basis. This is done to detect malicious code and remove it if found.
